The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela expresses its deepest condolences and profound solidarity with the people of the United States, particularly with the communities of Texas and New Mexico, affected by devastating floods in recent days. In both states, numerous human losses, missing persons, severe material damage, mass evacuations, and emergency situations have been reported, especially affecting families in rural areas and children’s camps.


Venezuela reiterates its commitment to solidarity among peoples and underscores the need to strengthen prevention and response systems in the face of extreme weather events, which are increasingly frequent as a consequence of climate change.
